Christina Dills is the Founder & CEO of Smart Edge Technologies, which builds AI-native software for small and mid-sized businesses through its agentic engineering team, DevClaw. She started in tech at 20, spent 13+ years at Microsoft Latin America, and has been building AI since 2018.

Age 16 · The start
Selling computers at Best Buy at 16. A Microsoft internship before graduating college. Twenty-plus years later, the work is the same at its core: helping organizations modernize, first through digital transformation, now through agentic AI. Not by handing over software and walking away, but by redesigning how they operate.
13+ years · Microsoft Latin America
Started as an intern analyzing opportunities across Latin America as SaaS was being born, and helped create some of Microsoft’s first anti-piracy campaigns. As Channel Development Manager, grew the department’s partner network from roughly 2,000 businesses to more than 10,000 and 4x’d the business. In between, the best mentors and some of the smartest people in the industry turned a young adult into a professional. The lesson everything since is built on: technology alone doesn’t transform organizations — the systems built around it do.
2018 · Smart Edge Technologies
The name was literal. “Edge” meant edge computing: putting intelligence on-site, where the work happens, instead of in a distant data center. The first builds were machine learning and AI vision analytics on cameras, RFID sensors, IoT gateways, and antennas. The tools have evolved; the mission hasn’t. Today Smart Edge builds AI-native software that gives SMBs and nonprofits the operational firepower of an enterprise, without the overhead. Our latest custom build went from kickoff to production in 3 weeks instead of 12 — 4x faster at 75% lower cost.
2022 · Collective Circularity
Winner of the SBDC Best Export Small Business Award. The operational lessons became SortIQ: AI vision on smart glasses, edge computing you can wear, built for thrift retail, e-commerce, export markets, and the textile regulations on the way.
